I used the pencil tool, smooth, to create the name. I created an oval, used a blue color for the line, then used copy and paste to create multiple copies. I filled in the last last oval using the fill tool and a purple color. I cannot think of a reason why I would use the pencil tool to create text for real, but that was what the assignment specified, so I did it that way. Len may have his reasons, after all.
